All Stainless Steel 316L not 304 stainless commonly used in other Valves
Easy Push Fit to clay, ceramic or plastic pipes
Our Rat Flap 110mm non return valve protects your property by creating a barrier which stops the rats before they enter your workplace or home and prevents them from ever becoming a problem.
How Our Sewer Flap works: The Ratbarrier works by blocking off sewage pipe access to rats from the outside while still permitting the free flow of water and waste from the inside. The Ratbarrier fits into your water or sewer pipe. Its steel flap opens when fluids need to flow freely into the sewer, but until then, the flap remains closed and prohibits rodents from entering. Quite simply, fluid flows out, but rats can’t get in. This means that if you have multiple lateral drains only 1 rat-flap is necessary to protect them all! The unit can be fitted in either the outlet pipe from your home (reverse the unit) or in the pipe between your home system and the main road sewer. If your home was built before 1960 the chances are that you will have an interceptor fitted on the pipe from your home to the main sewer and in this case you may only need a drain plug to solve your rat problem.
There is also a 6 inch non return valve rat flap version available in related products

Sewerstore are manufacturers and designers of sewer solutions and drain products. We are a company based in Swindon Wiltshire and have developed the non return valve or (drain rat flap) to protect homes and businesses against rat ingress into properties.
We originally started developing a drain valve due to requests from customers as we are a pest control company and have been installing plastic versions which became chewed by rats.
After much trial and error with different types of metals we decided on using marine grade 316L stainless steel due to its anti corrosion capabilities. This was the first stage and as we wanted to sell a product which has a balance of reliability and cost effectiveness we decided it was necessary to build our valves in house.
Building in house required tools needed for metal cutting including CNC plasma machines and welding equipment. Initially we started using hand held tools. We have now invested in computer controlled CNC machines.
Having this capability allows us to carry out custom builds for clients and allows us to sell direct to Pest Control companies, Drain Contractors and Business and Consumers directly while offering a cost effective product.
We offer price discounts on bulk orders and can supply any volume.
